MURRIETA, Calif. – The American Motorcyclist Association recently announced the U.S. trophy team lineups for the 2021 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Italy on Aug. 30 – Sept. 4, 2021. Headed by FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Manager Antti Kallonen, the U.S. squad will include three KTM-mounted riders, two Husqvarna Motorcycles riders and two GASGAS riders on the World Trophy, Junior World Trophy and Women's World Trophy teams.

Antti Kallonen, U.S. Trophy Team Manager: “I’m excited to return to ISDE racing after a long, one-year break from it. Our motivation is high with lots of fresh faces on our team roster this year, which I’m glad to see a KTM represented in each of the three classes, and with these riders we are not only aiming to help the team championships but also individual wins.”

The 2021 U.S. World Trophy Team includes Taylor Robert of Scottsdale, Ariz. on a KTM 450 XC-F; Johnny Girroir of Boonville, N.C.riding the GASGAS EC 250F; Ryan Sipes of Ekron, Ky. on a GASGAS EC 300 TPI; and Layne Michael of Boonville N.C. aboard a Yamaha YZ450F.

This year’s U.S. World Trophy Team is comprised of multi-time offroad champions ranging from ISDE veterans like FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Taylor Robert and Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Ryan Sipes, to first-time competitors such as Coastal GASGAS Factory Racing’s Johnny Girroir. Sipes, the 2015 ISDE overall winner, will pilot the GASGAS EC 300 TPI in the E3 class, while Robert, the 2016 ISDE overall winner and three-time class winner, will look to add another E2 championship in 2021. Girroir may be new to ISDE but the current GNCC XC2 250 Pro points leader has proven his merit in 250 cc racing and will certainly be a positive addition to the team’s effort in the E1 division aboard the GASGAS EC 250F.

The 2021 U.S. Junior World Trophy Team, made up of riders age 23 and younger includes Dante Oliveira of Hollister, Calif. on a KTM 450 XC-F; Austin Walton of Sparks, Nev. riding a Husqvarna FX 450; and Cody Barnes of Sterling, Ill. aboard a Honda CRF250R.

Joining the U.S. Junior World Trophy Team lineup for the first time is WORCS championship contender, Dante Oliveira, who is set to compete alongside his FMF KTM Factory Racing teammate in the E2 division on a KTM 450 XC-F. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Austin Walton also enters his first year on the U.S. squad, racing aboard the FX 450 in the E2 class.

The 2021 U.S. Women's World Trophy Team includes Brandy Richards of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. aboard a KTM 350 XC-F; Britney Gallegos of Monte Vista, Colo. riding a Husqvarna FX 250; and Rachel Gutish of Terre Haute, Ind. on a Beta 250 RR.

KTM-supported rider Brandy Richards is no stranger to the ISDE as she enters her third year competing aboard the KTM 250 XC-F. Joining her for the first time is Britney Gallegos, who is ready to rise to the challenge and take the Women to gold riding aboard the Husqvarna FX 250.
