FMF KTM Factory Racing's Trystan Hart claimed his fifth U.S. Hard Enduro victory of season 2025 in Round 9 at the Donner Hard Enduro, on a weekend that Ben Kelley finished on the Snowshoe GNCC podium with a P2 result in the XC1 Open Pro Class.
U.S. HARD ENDURO SERIES – ROUND 9

Defending four-time AMA U.S. Hard Enduro Champion Trystan Hart continued his recent run of exceptional form by posting a convincing performance in what were unusually challenging conditions, with a snowstorm at the Donner Ski Ranch delaying the beginning of Saturday's race.

After powering to P2 off the start onboard his KTM 300 XC-W, Hart made a pass into first position soon afterward, leading the field as the opening lap concluded.

Hart managed to build a comfortable 30-second advantage in the middle stages of the race, which he would steadily increase to almost one minute by the time the checkered flag flew for win number five of the year.

With his Donner Hard Enduro win in Norden, California, Hart has increased his series lead to 35 points with a single round remaining in 2025.

Trystan Hart: “Donner was a great race, the snow started coming in early, so the race was postponed for around three hours. I had a great first lap, then Cody ended up catching me, and we battled back and forth. He put the pressure on me, although I was super-happy to hold him off and get my fifth win of the season.”

GRAND NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY SERIES – ROUND 9

It was a dry, ultra-tough race track in the famed Snowshoe GNCC, with former Grand National Cross Country Series title-winner Ben Kelley battling the heat to maintain front-running pace onboard his FMF KTM Factory Racing 350 XC-F.

An early-race mishap had Kelley's work cut out for him, however, the number 530 never gave up, clawing his way to a second-place finish in the XC1 Open Pro Class, as well as third overall. He now leads the GNCC Series after Round 9, with four races remaining for the 2025 season.

Ben Kelley: “That was gnarly! It was the hardest Snowshoe I’ve ever done. It was hot today and on lap four I was already suffering. I made a mistake at the beginning, so I had to charge through the pack, and I was then yoyo-ing with the leaders, but it was a struggle. I’m so pumped to get to the podium, all things considered, and it feels awesome to bank solid points toward the title.”

Starting from the front row in the unique pavement-based start, FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers’ Grant Davis would run up front during the opening stages of the race, before an untimely pit stop for a damaged shifter replacement on his KTM 250 XC-F. That hampered his end result, eventually claiming P5 in the XC2 250 Pro Class, which he still leads by 27 points in the series.

Grant Davis: “Tough day on the mountain for me. I got to start on the front row and ran up front for a while, but fell back a little and was trying to charge, but I mangled my shifter and had to swap it out. I’m going to take the summer break to get ready for the Six Days and then the rest of the GNCC season.”

Fellow XC2 250 Pro Class contender Angus Riordan was once again in the mix during the Snowshoe weekend equipped with his KTM 250 XC-F, however, the scorching temperatures would take their toll on the Australian racer, who showed a fighting spirit to finish sixth in class despite struggling with the conditions.

Angus Riordan: “That was a tough go at Snowshoe for me this year! I was going okay, but my body overheated, which made it a challenging day. We’ll take this summer break to regroup and put in some work, so we can come out firing for the last four rounds of the GNCC season.”
