FMF KTM Factory Racing's defending AMA U.S. Hard Enduro Champion Trystan Hart rode to a well-earned victory in Round 1 of the 2025 season at the King of the Motos this weekend. Sunday also saw Dante Oliveira make an appearance at the National Hare & Hound Series opener, finishing on the podium in second position.
U.S. HARD ENDURO SERIES – ROUND 1

Already a four-time champion in U.S. Hard Enduro, Trystan Hart managed to contest the opening round despite injuring his left index finger leading into the new season, and he defied the odds for a third-career King of the Motos victory in Johnson Valley, California.

Despite being uncertain if he would be able to race this weekend, the Canadian claimed second position in the Prologue on his KTM 300 XC-W, and then a late charge in the main race on Sunday saw the FMF KTM Factory Racing rider clinch a rewarding win with a total time of 3:17:02.

Trystan Hart: "I came in unprepared following a recent injury and wasn't even going to race, but I ended up getting second in the Prologue and then in the main race I put a really hard charge in on the last lap, so was able to get a pretty decent gap. I was able to get the King of the Motos win for the third time, so it was a good weekend!"

NATIONAL HARE & HOUND SERIES – ROUND 1

FMF KTM Factory Racing was on track at Round 1 of the AMA National Hare & Hound Series with Dante Oliveira, who impressed with a podium result of P2 riding his KTM 450 XC-F.

Oliveira was able to quickly adapt to the desert setting of Hare & Hound competition, completing the first loop in fourth position, before charging forward to second by the time the checkered flag was waved.

It was a convincing outing for the reigning National Grand Prix Champion and West Hare Scrambles number one, recording an overall finishing time of 3:02:39, and gaining important experience throughout the weekend.

Dante Oliveira: "I got the full Hare & Hound experience this weekend! I was trying to stay out of the dust early and it was technical at the start, so I was able to capitalize on that. It was a good weekend in the desert and I definitely respected it today, charged where I felt confident, but also pumped the brakes where I wasn't too sure on what was coming up. I've got some work to do, but I like that."
