Round 4 - AMA National Hare and Hound Championship
JERICHO, Utah – Round 4 of the AMA National Hare & Hound Championship was cut short for FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Taylor Robert, who suffered a race-ending crash on Saturday in Jericho, Utah.

Robert, the undefeated series points leader coming into the weekend, was battling out front early on and he found himself off-trail for moment in the sand dunes, causing him to lose position as he re-entered the course. In effort to regain the lead, Robert misread the sandy terrain and crashed, sending him over the bars. Pulling off immediately to receive on-site medical attention, Robert was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Undergoing surgery for abdominal trauma, doctors were able to successfully repair everything internally. The Arizona native also sustained a fractured foot and he will remain in the hospital for several days as he continues to recover.

The FMF KTM Factory Racing Team wishes Taylor a speedy and healthy recovery.
