2021 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn's
MURRIETA, Calif. – Coming away with a total of 10 National Championships in classes ranging from the Mini-E (4-6) Jr. all the way up to Senior (40+), KTM North America, Inc. would like to congratulate KTM racers on an incredible showing at the 40th Annual AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Highlighting the brand’s efforts with a perfect 1-1-1 score, KTM Orange Brigade’s Haiden Deegan earned himself a National Championship in the Supermini 1 (12-15) class with an impressive performance all week long. Georgia’s Gabe Holland came close to a three-race sweep in the 250 C Jr. (12-17) Limited class, where he clinched the title with 1-1-2 finishes, similar to fellow Georgian Thomas Wood, who went 1-2-1 to claim the Mini Sr. 2 (13-15) Championship. Arizona’s Nico Long had a championship-winning performance in the 250 C Limited class with 1-1-2 finishes, while Illinois native Keegan Rowley secured the 125 C title with impressive 3-1-1 moto scores.
Florida’s Caden Braswell had a great run in the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C class, where he secured the highly-competitive National Championship with 5-2-1 finishes throughout the week. The 85cc (10-12) Limited title went to Texas native Caden Dudney, while Florida’s Matti Jorgensen Jr. clinched the 250 B Limited title with consistent 2-3-1 moto scores. Showcasing KTM’s READY TO RACE lineup of high performance machines in all sizes, Edward “Lee” Walston topped the Senior (40+) class with 2-3-1 finishes, while KTM’s youngest champion, Talon Hinson, claimed the Mini-E (4-6) Jr. title with steady 1-2-2 finishes in the class.
