Round 2 - NGPC Series
TAFT, Calif. – FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Dante Oliveira clinched the win after an incredibly close battle during the second round of the AMA National Grand Prix Championship. Hosted by Dirt Diggers MC, the GP was held at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, California.

Oliveira got off to a top-five start and attempted to quickly make his way to the front of the pack. In fourth place for the first few laps, less than 15 seconds separated Oliveira and the leader lap after lap but the reigning champion eventually made his move into the lead on lap six. Continually facing pressure from behind, Oliveira was able to maintain his lead through the checkers to secure his first win of the early season.

Dante Oliveira:“It was a good weekend at NGPC. I got off to a slow start and sat in fourth for most of the race, but I made some moves getting into first in the last half-hour and I brought it in for the win.”

FMF/Maxxis/RPM KTM Racing’s Mateo Oliveira captured the win in the Pro 2 division, leading his class during the entire race.

In the Pro Women’s class, KTM-supported rider Brandy Richards lapped the rest of the class to secure her second-straight win in the class.
