A fourth-straight round victory in the U.S. Sprint Enduro Series saw FMF KTM Factory Racing rider Johnny Girroir increase his advantage in the point standings at Olde Mill Farm this weekend, continuing his dominant run in the Pro 1 Class and overall. The weekend also saw FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers' Brandy Richards win Pro Women and Gus Riordan finish runner-up in Pro 2.
Defending champion Girroir was once again the class of the Pro 1 field on his KTM 350 XC-F in the Maryland event, fending off a challenge from Liam Draper across the two-day race weekend and maintaining his perfect season to date in 2024. A late charge on Saturday to claim P1 set him up for Sunday, where he delivered a consistent performance for the overall.

Johnny Girroir: "That was gnarly! Liam [Draper] had me sweating this weekend and we were pretty much the same speed out there, so if I made a mistake he won the test, and vice-versa. I started seven seconds behind him going into Saturday’s last test and I knew it was do or die... I could see him near the end, so I knew I made up a lot of time. Sunday was much better, I held my lines and hit my marks, so didn’t have any problems. It was a really good Cross Test, felt a lot like the Six Days, and the woods were a little tighter, but it was a cool weekend."

FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers rider Richards also continued her winning ways equipped with the KTM 250 XC-F in the Olde Mill Sprint, excelling across both the Cross and Enduro Tests to build upon her Pro Women championship lead at the halfway point of the season.

Brandy Richards: "It was a great weekend and I was a big fan of both tests. They were quite different, but I had a good time and tried to stay consistent – Korie [Steede] was definitely keeping me on my toes! It was a fun race and I'm really excited to win this one."

Still leading the Pro 2 category, defending class champion Riordan had to settle for second position this weekend on his KTM 250 XC-F, finishing just five seconds short of the win after the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team Landers rider encountered trouble in the final test on Sunday.

Angus Riordan: "Saturday was a very inconsistent day for me. I really enjoyed the Cross Test – it was all grass and it was fast, so it was good for me. On Sunday, I threw it away on that last test, which was a bit annoying, but I had a good time and the weekend was positive."
