Round 7 - AMA National Enduro Championship
MATTHEWS, Ind. – FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Josh Toth returned to the center of the AMA National Enduro Pro1 podium with a flawless performance at Sunday’s Muddobbers National. He was joined on the box by teammate Ben Kelley, who came out on top of an intense second-place battle to give KTM an impressive 1-2 punch at Round 7.

Despite a few muddy spots on the course, the three-time 2021 race winner kept his KTM 350 XC-F on two wheels all day, racing to convincing victory in each of the day’s six tests. Chipping away little by little, Toth ultimately topped his teammate by more than three minutes at the end of two-plus hours.

Josh Toth: “I had a great day today at the enduro! I managed to sweep all six tests and win by a good margin, so I’m stoked with my ride. I rode smooth all day and really enjoyed the trails, it made for a fun day!”

With Toth in a race of his own out front, Kelley found himself embedded in perhaps the most intense battle of the day for second-place. Keeping his KTM 350 XC-F inside the top-five through all six tests, Kelley’s consistency paid off as he edged out points leader Steward Baylor Jr. for the runner-up finish by only 1.6 seconds.

Ben Kelley: “I had a close battle for the second place spot going all day with three other guys. I rode really well but I had four crashes throughout the day that had me a little frustrated, but I’m happy to not lose too much time in my crashes and still pull off second.”

Following an impressive six-race winning streak in the NE Pro2 class, Trail Jesters KTM Racing Team’s Jesse Ansley finished second on the day but he came away with the hardware as he was crowned 2021 NE Pro2 Champion with two rounds to go.

KTM-Supported rider Mackenzie Tricker earned her second win of the season in the Women’s Elite class, setting herself up for a favorable bid toward the 2021 title.
