A spectacular showdown between four-time U.S. Hard Enduro Champion Trystan Hart and world number one Manuel Lettenbichler saw FMF KTM Factory Racing Team standout Hart place second in the Silver Kings Hard Enduro this weekend, finishing just short of victory behind Lettenbichler in Round 2 of the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
The prestigious Silver Kings event saw the world’s best Hard Enduro contenders arrive in Kellogg, Idaho, to take on a talented list of United States-based riders, with Canadian native Hart motivated to make his mark on the international stage riding his KTM 300 XC-W.

Hart was impressive throughout the three-day Silver Kings Hard Enduro, claiming P2 in Thursday's tight and technical Super Kings Prologue while competing ahead of a packed crowd who were lined trackside.

Friday saw Hart take victory in the first of the ultra-competitive offroad days on the Silver Mountain course following a decisive, late-race pass into the lead – making his move on the final hill climb to edge Lettenbichler for an instrumental Day 1 win.

The overall went down to the wire between Hart and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team's reigning Hard Enduro World Champion Lettenbichler on Saturday, but it was the latter who managed to beat Hart home to the checkered flag by just 20 seconds to secure the 2025 Silver Kings Hard Enduro winner's trophy.

For Hart, it was a convincing effort across all three days of competition and, despite his initial disappointment, he can be extremely proud of the challenge that he put forward to Lettenbichler this week. He will now reset his focus for Round 9 of the AMA U.S. Hard Enduro Series, set to take place at the Donner Hard Enduro next weekend on June 21-22.

Trystan Hart: “I didn’t have anything left in the tank, to be honest. I made one mistake on the last lap, I didn't get up a rock, and Mani got like 30 seconds on me. I still caught him on this last hill, where he stayed on the more grassy side like 20 feet from the finish, and I went into the snow to try and pass him – which almost worked – but the ground was frozen underneath, and I just didn't get any drive. It was so close, but I’m pretty proud of that – I honestly gave it my all. We went back and forth all race long, but ultimately we were a little short this weekend.”
