CODY WEBB DOMINATES ENDUROFEST EXTREME MOTO EVENT

Endurofest Extreme Moto - May 5, 2019

SPARKS, Nev. – Fresh off an intense battle for the 2019 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Cody Webb put forth a dominant performance to claim a nearly flawless victory at Endurofest 2019 at Wild West Motorsports in Sparks, Nevada. Webb dominated all three races to sweep the overall ahead of FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis rider Trystan Hart.

The Endurofest event was made up of three separate races over the course of one day, each race with its own challenges and obstacles for riders to face. The first race consisted of a 3.5-mile extreme course, where riders were challenged to complete as many laps as they could within a 1.5-hour timeframe. Webb completed five laps to everyone else’s four, giving him a substantial win over the competition.

In race two, the course was shortened to only one-mile but the pace was much faster than the first with a total time of 20-minutes on the clock. Webb navigated his way to the front once again as he claimed his second win by 1.5-minutes over KTM-mounted rider Trystan Hart.

The third race presented the same one-mile loop as race two, but this time the course direction was reversed. Webb once again got out front and raced his way to a victory by 2.5 minutes to secure a three-race sweep on the day.

Webb: “It was a great day. I was really enjoying myself and the bike made it really easy for me. The first extreme race was really good, it was the most difficult but I felt like I was cruising through and the next two races were a little bit faster and not quite as difficult. I didn’t get the holeshot so right off the bat I was able to get into the lead and just push for the win.”
