The successful blend between Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and ETS Racing Fuels will continue to mix and thrive for both MXGP and MX2 riders in the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship. Since 2013 KTM has co-operated with the racing fuel supplier and have won world titles as a result of the partnership thanks to Antonio Cairoli (2013, 2014 and 2017), Jeffrey Herlings (2013 and 2016) and Pauls Jonass (2017).

2018 MXGP will take place through nineteen rounds around the world on three continents – from South America to Europe and Asia. The series kicked off earlier this month with the Grand Prix of Patagonia Argentina, where the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team began the campaign as defending champions in both classes for the sixth time this decade.

The first technical co-operation (and later on sales arrangement) between both parties originated in the USA. Since the 2012 AMA Championship, ETS Racing Fuels powered Ryan Dungey to five AMA Supercross and Motocross crowns. By late 2015 KTM and ETS agreed to develop and market premium fuels that could be used by any KTM offroad motorcycle in North America. The partnership flourished internationally and has been a staple element of the MXGP team’s technical set-up for the last five years. With two rounds now completed, the team currently leads both MXGP and MX2 classes with a clean sweep of moto victories for the Austrian manufacturer so far.

“We are very pleased to continue our successful relationship with ETS Racing Fuels,” said Robert Jonas, Vice President of KTM Motorsports Offroad. “Together with ETS engineers we were able to develop special blended premium fuels that ideally suit our engine and racing requirements and thus help us to significantly increase our bike performance.”

“We are delighted to have such a successful technical partnership with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, said Yann Labia, ETS Racing Fuels product manager. “From the USA in the AMA Supercross and Motocross championships, through to the European & worldwide national championships, right up to the FIM Motocross World Championship, we are extremely proud to power so many KTM bikes with our specifically developed fuels.”
