KTM DM31 Racing Team has continued its strong form in the 2026 Australian Enduro Championship (AEC), delivering an impressive haul of podium performances and a winning weekend in E3 for Korey McMahon across Rounds 3 and 4 in Dungog, New South Wales.
Defending E3 champion McMahon led the way for the team, claiming back-to-back class victories onboard the KTM 500 EXC-F, while also securing P2 in Pro Enduro Outright on both days. He edged closer on Sunday, falling just 29.29s short of the outright victory by day’s end.

Korey McMahon: “It was a good weekend at Dungog – really challenging for me and the Enduro format is always enjoyable. I felt like I put my best foot forward and it wasn’t enough to beat Wil [Ruprecht], unfortunately, but we’re getting closer every time we go up against him. He’s a world-class rider, so it’s tough to get on top of it and match his consistency, but we’re slowly working our way there. I feel like that’s a big positive from this weekend – even though we were second in Pro Enduro, it was good to be battling at the front. I’m happy with my riding and looking forward to a couple of weeks off before getting ready for the next round at QMP.”

Alongside him at the KTM DM31 Racing Team and with minimal experience in the Enduro format, Jye Dickson maintained consistency at his home round of AUS Enduro. The Newcastle local finished P2 in the E2 class and P3 outright across both rounds equipped with the KTM 450 EXC-F, continuing to build momentum in his first season with the Daniel Milner-led program.

Jye Dickson: “Rounds 3 and 4 were a time card format, so there was a lot of bike time across the weekend. Dungog is pretty much a home race for me, so it was nice having it close – I had a lot of friends and family come out to watch. The tracks got pretty dusty and had these deep, train-track-style ruts, which I struggled with across the weekend. Wil [Ruprecht] was just on another level, and I couldn’t quite bridge that gap. We tried a fair bit with the team to get closer, but just couldn’t make it happen. There are a few things to work on from that side of things, but I came away with P3 outright and P2 in class on both days, so we’re looking forward to QMP next month.”

The team was without E1 newcomer Jackson Versteegen for the Dungog rounds, with the Western Australian sidelined due to a thumb injury sustained in the lead-up to the event. Versteegen – who made his step into the senior ranks this season with KTM DM31 Racing Team – will now focus on recovery ahead of the fifth and sixth rounds at Queensland Moto Park in May.

With two strong days of results in Dungog, KTM DM31 Racing Team now shifts focus to the next stop of the championship in Queensland, where the team will look to continue its podium form.
