KTM Racing Team's Dylan Walsh raced to sixth overall in the SX1 Class at Round 3 of the 2025 AUSX Supercross Championship on Saturday night, on a weekend where SX2 teammate Byron Dennis took a consistent top 10 result inside Cronulla’s Sharks Stadium.
Equipped with the KTM 450 SX-F, Walsh set the sixth-fastest qualifying time during Saturday’s afternoon session, posting a 49.026s lap on the technical track layout comprised of high speed lanes and dual whoop sections.

The 27-year-old then charged to sixth in the first of two SX1 Finals, before launching to a fast start and holding the lead for a portion of Final 2. An unfortunate mishap would see him need to ride through the field, and he climbed to another P6 result by race's end, finishing with sixth overall. Walsh is now sixth in the SX1 standings and is within striking distance of P4.

Dylan Walsh: "I can start on this KTM really well! I was a little bit off in the opening Final, letting a couple of people through after a mistake, which had an impact on the result. Then the second one, I was in the race lead after the start, but found the ground in that one after a little bit of help. That was a racing incident, but again, it was a bit of a bummer to have that happen. We’re making progress – in the weeks between now and Melbourne we’ll keep pushing hard.”

SX2 rider Dennis – equipped with the KTM 250 SX-F – was on hand in Sydney after a difficult opening two rounds, with the 18-year-old positioned 11th following qualifying. He would then race to an 8-10 scorecard over the two-Final format, which saw the young New South Welshman claim a 10th place result.

Byron Dennis: "Sydney wasn’t too bad of a weekend – definitely a big learning curve for me. I made a few rookie mistakes, but there were a lot of positives to take out of it, and we know what to work on. I’m really excited for the next one in Melbourne, so we’ll put in some work and get ready for it.”

KTM Racing Team’s Nathan Crawford and Noah Ferguson were both absent from the third round as they continue to recover from recent injuries, while KTM Racing Team-supported rider Jackson Fuller collected valuable experience by finishing 12th in the SX3 division.
