The MANAGUA and DURBAN GTX TECH-AIR™ gears are KTM PowerWear’s premium offering for discerning ADVENTURE riders, the former best suited to street riding, while the latter is equally happy in light offroad conditions.

Highlights of the MANAGUA GTX TECH-AIR™ JACKET and PANTS

A multi-panel main shell construction with reinforced shoulder, elbow and knee areas keeps riders safe, while a fully laminated GORE-TEX® main chassis keeps them comfortable. You can choose to remove the lightweight thermal lining according to the weather conditions. And should you venture out further into the heat, an innovative ventilation system featuring large, zippered air intakes on the chest, arms and thighs and an air outlet on the back creates a nice, cool breeze. Of course, high visibility reflective detailing is part of the package and so is a set of lightweight, CE-certified protectors on the elbows, shoulders and knees. A large pocket at the rear of the jacket and waterproof zips round off this all-star that will keep adventurers going wherever curiosity takes them. All year round.

Highlights of the DURBAN GTX TECH-AIR™ JACKET and PANTS

The multi-material construction, starring lightweight, durable polyamide and strategically placed protective polyamide inserts, make for a solid main shell. An ultra-lightweight removable GORE-TEX® membrane with micro-fleece lining has got riders covered in all kinds of weather and should things get gnarly, lightweight, removable CE-certified elbow, shoulder and knee protectors have their back. The elbow areas also feature aramidic fiber and over-injected PU abrasion reinforcements, while the knee reinforcements are heatproof and abrasion resistant. The jacket has waterproof, zippered air intakes on the sleeves, chest and back, just like the ones on the thighs of the pants. There are waterproof pockets on the front of the jacket, but you can also store basic necessities in the large utility pocket on the back. Equipped with a two-liter bladder hydration system pocket, there is almost no need to stop. Except to take in the view.

TECH-AIR™ compatible
Out-of-the-box, both jackets are ready to team up with the revolutionary Alpinestars Tech-Air™ street system. This is the world’s first self-contained airbag, covering the back, chest, shoulders and kidneys. No wires or cables are needed, you just hop on and ride off, safe in the knowledge that the system is active.
