KTM Racing Team riders Byron Dennis and Dylan Walsh delivered strong results at Round 3 of the 2026 Australian ProMX Championship in Gillman, with Dennis securing a third-consecutive MX2 podium and Walsh recording a consistent top-five finish.
Dennis posted the fourth-fastest qualifying time onboard his KTM 250 SX-F in the sandy South Australian conditions, before charging to an impressive second-place finish in Moto 1. A third-place result in Moto 2 secured second overall for the round via a 2-3 scorecard.

Following three rounds of competition, Dennis now sits second in the MX2 standings, 10 points from the series lead entering Toowoomba on May 24.

Byron Dennis: "We stacked some good points at Gillman, tried to put our best foot forward, and ended with 2-3 moto scores. Both the riding and the bike felt good, just a couple of little tweaks needed on my side, and we'll get to the top step!"

Walsh was also in form once again this weekend, guiding his KTM 250 SX-F to P2 on the MX2 qualifying timesheets with a 1:51.780s lap-time, before converting that speed into a third-place result in Moto 1.

A 10th-place finish in Moto 2 following a first-turn crash saw Walsh complete the Gillman round fifth overall, positioning him fourth in the MX2 standings after three rounds.

Dylan Walsh: "It was a tough day! I had an average opening Moto to begin with – it was just alright – but in Moto 2, I got caught up in a first turn crash, which, on a track like this, makes it hard to pass. It is what it is, so we'll shift focus to the next one in Toowoomba."

KTM Racing Team MX1 rider Zac Watson made his third ProMX appearance with the team onboard the KTM 450 SX-F in South Australia, qualifying ninth before improving to eighth-fastest in the MX1 Pole Shootout.

Watson then recorded seventh place in Moto 1 and ninth in Moto 2, with the consistent scorecard earning him seventh overall for round three. He now sits equal sixth in the point-standings entering Toowoomba’s fourth round in two weeks’ time.

Zac Watson: "My riding was a bit mediocre today, and the results aren't quite where I would like them to be. In saying that, there are some positives to take away from the round, but we need to iron out making my way forward a little cleaner – I think in Moto 2, I took a bit too long to pass some riders, which cost me maybe three or four positions. If I can tidy that up and get a little more aggressive for Round 4, then I'll be happy."

In addition, KTM Racing Team-supported MX3 rider Jackson Fuller claimed an impressive second overall at Round 3 courtesy of 7-2 moto scores, while Gillman also hosted the opening round of the KTM Group-supported MX65 Futures series in South Australia, showcasing the sport’s next generation of talent on the big stage.
