KTM Motohall celebrates its 50.000th visitor Andrea and Erich Friedrich from Kramsach, Tyrol were on their way into the highspeed world of KTM when they were warmly welcomed by the Mayor of Mattighofen, Friedrich Schwarzenhofer, KTM Motohall General Manager, René Esterbauer, Rallye Dakar winner Sam Sunderland and Enduro World Champion Manuel Lettenbichler, with a bouquet of flowers and a KTM Motohall gift card. “The fact that we have been able to welcome the 50,000th visitor today, just a little over 6 months after we opened, is an incredible achievement. This has been made possible thanks to the fantastic interactive exhibition which draws local guests and international motorcycle fans alike and the Innovation Lab, where children and school classes in particular are actively immersed in the technologies of the future. I am delighted with the first brilliant year of operation and am able to look back with pride on many highlights with my team, such as our children’s vacation program last summer, action-packed public viewings in our Event Area, and our participation in ORF’s Long Night of Museums,” said René Esterbauer. Motorsport enthusiast and KTM 690 Duke rider Erich Friedrich was delighted with the gift, his visit to the KTM Motohall will not be forgotten in a hurry: “The experience in Mattighofen offers an impressive journey from the past to the present of motorcycle technology. I absolutely recommended KTM Motohall, it’s fun for the entire family. We redeemed our gift card in the KTM Shop right away and then enjoyed the culinary delights on offer in the Garage Restaurant. We can’t wait to come again after this incredible surprise.” Friedrich Schwarzenhofer was also delighted with the strong visitor numbers since the official opening in May: “This just confirms that visitors enjoy the KTM Motohall. The experience has established itself as a destination for the entire family and enriches not only the town of Mattighofen, but the entire Mattigtal region. From the landlord to the salespeople, everyone profits from the KTM Motohall.”
