KTM Racing divisions and Hinson maintain strong link for another two years

KTM and the American firm have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial partnership for twelve years and their exploits together in 2018 saw yet more spoils in the prestigious Dakar Rally and the total domination of the FIM Motocross World Championship with both 1st and 2nd positions in the MXGP and MX2 classes belonging to Red Bull KTM. 2019 has already started on the right path with a staggering 18th consecutive Dakar victory, Le Touquet Beach Race spoils and new recruit Cooper Webb having earned his very first AMA 450SX win early in the 2019 Supercross series.

The roots of the union between the two accomplished technical and engineering companies was born near the beginning of the century in the USA. It has prospered as KTM overhauled their U.S. racing programme and embraced the experience and knowledge of people like Roger de Coster and Ian Harrison and their crew to make an indelible mark on the American scene. Hinson Clutch Components and their R&D was key to the high level achieved across Enduro terrain, Rally Specials and MXGP circuits on an international basis; the technical acumen of the SX-F and EXC-F motorcycles shining strongly in the harshest tests and against the very best opposition from 2007.
