KTM Factory Racing Teams enlarge partnership with brake specialists Moto-Master Motocross/Offroad The distinctive Moto-Master Flame brake discs will enable premium and essential braking capabilities once more on KTM Offroad factory machinery, and have already had a fantastic influence in results at the Dakar Rally, AMA Supercross, MXGP, SuperEnduro and other disciplines since the start of the year. Moto-Master’s R&D and manufacturing is based in the Netherlands and the company recently toasted their twentieth anniversary after establishing a name for their innovations in brake discs since 1997. Their best-selling Flame Brake Rotors broke new ground thanks to a design that permits maximum control and boasts reduced brake pad wear, optimal cooling at a reduced weight while optimizing cleansing performance of both the disc and the pads. For KTM the craftsmanship and potency of the Flame and Moto-Master’s support towards their efforts and the quests to regain titles was an important ingredient in their prep for 2018 action. “For 12 years we have been able to count on Moto-Master, their discs and their attitude towards innovation and proving us with the best,” said KTM VP Offroad Robert Jonas. “In racing it is possible to find companies wanting to test and develop their products but it’s not always easy to find those that have the same mentality and strategy. We feel we have this with Moto-Master. We are already achieving goals together once the gate drops and the stopwatches start. We hope we can go on to reach more achievements as the year continues.” “We share KTM’s 'READY TO RACE' philosophy and are proud to be part of the success of KTM in Offroad and Motocross,” commented CEO of Moto-Master Rolf Verhagen. “In selecting their bike components, KTM does not make any concessions on performance or reliability. This is why I am pleased that KTM Factory Racing again has called upon Moto-Master to supply brake discs and components for 2018 and beyond. The Offroad sport is under constant development and these are exciting times to be part of the KTM Factory Racing community."
