Moto-Master: Invaluable partner for KTM’s Rally Factory Racing Teams Rally Announcement Rolf Verhagen, CEO of Moto-Master: “We share KTM’s 'READY TO RACE' philosophy and are proud to be part of the success of KTM in Rally sport. In selecting their bike components, KTM does not make any concessions on performance or reliability. This is why I am pleased that the Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Racing team again has called upon Moto-Master to supply special Rally brake kits for the 2017 Dakar and beyond. A new generation of Rally riders has taken over, and these are exciting times to be part of the KTM Factory Racing community." The 2016 Dakar victory was a great start for the talented next generation, who have already laid the groundwork for future success, but KTM Motorsports and the management of the factory team are very aware that the competition is increasingly tight. KTM must expect opposing teams to lift their game, and this makes it all the more important to work with the most reliable partners and have access to the best equipment. Stefan Huber, Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Racing Team's Technical Director: "For us, it is essential to work with a partner like Moto-Master. We share ideals, and we share a racing philosophy and a determination to win. Our riders are among the world's best and Rally sport is not without its dangers. We need to be able to supply them with top class equipment, so when they hit the stages of a big event like the Dakar, they can concentrate on getting the job done. When it comes to the Moto-Master Rally brake kit, we know it is a high-level, high-performance product of the quality we need. We're very satisfied with the brake kit, and we're happy to continue our partnership with Moto-Master." In 2016, Jordi Viladoms (ESP) ended his riding career with the Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Racing Team and advanced to the position of Rally Sport Manager. Australia’s Toby Price became a full factory rider and won the Dakar Rally at his second attempt (he was third on a KTM in his rookie season 2015). Other team members are Sam Sunderland (GBR), Matthias Walkner (AUT) and Antoine Meo (FRA). The talented Laia Sanz of Spain completes KTM’s factory rider lineup. www.moto-master.com www.ktm.com | media.ktm.com Facebook | YouTube | Twitter | Instagram
