MotoGP 2025 - Round 22 of 22, Ricardo Tormo Circuit – Qualification and Sprint

Pedro Acosta achieved a 2nd place Sprint finish at a sunny Ricardo Tormo Circuit on the outskirts of Valencia and in front of a large attendance at the cloud-covered venue today. The Spaniard rode to his fourth Saturday podium in a row for the last Sprint of the 2025 season and is now P4 in the championship standings. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teammate Brad Binder rushed to 8th place on the KTM RC16 after starting from P15. Alvaro Carpe was the best qualifier for the KTM GP Academy with 6th position on the grid for Moto3™.

Pedro Acosta completed the podium double at a sunny and temperate Algarve International Circuit by sliding his Red Bull KTM RC16 to a strong 3rd place today for the Portuguese Grand Prix and the 21st episode of MotoGP this year. The Spaniard battled for the top three and grabbed 16 points to complement his P2 from the Saturday Sprint. Elsewhere the KTM GP Academy posted a notable result with Collin Veijer walking the Moto2™ rostrum for the first time in his rookie season.

The penultimate Saturday of the 2025 MotoGP season passed in fine style for Red Bull KTM. Pedro Acosta fought from lights-to-flag for Sprint victory at the Algarve International Circuit near the town of Portimão and finished 2nd for his sixth medal of the year. Red Bull KTM saw three KTM RC16s in the top ten after 12 laps of the undulating course in southern Europe.
