Dakar Rally 2018 – Stage 12
After a cancelled stage 12, Matthias Walkner maintains his 2018 Dakar Rally lead with an advantage of more than 30-minutes over his nearest competitor. Team-mates Toby Price and Antoine Meo are hot on his heels in third and fifth respectively. KTM Factory Racing’s Laia Sanz is holding onto a very strong 13th in the provisional rankings.
Dakar Rally 2018 – Stage 11
Toby Price has fought back from yesterday’s disappointing result to dominate stage 11 of the 2018 Dakar Rally. Antoine Meo put in another superb performance to post the third fastest time for the day while Matthias Walkner placed fifth to retain his position at the top of the provisional overall standings.
Dakar Rally 2018 – Stage 10
Matthias Walkner has won a drama-filled stage 10 of the 2018 Dakar Rally. Toby Price and Antoine Meo both started well, but then lost time during the latter half of the stage to eventually finish 19th and 26th respectively. KTM Factory Racing’s Laia Sanz put in another good ride to finish 11th, but unfortunately her team-mate Luciano Benavides was forced to retire from the rally after crashing.
Dakar Rally 2018 – Stage 9
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team have travelled to Salta in Argentina to continue the 40th edition of the Dakar Rally. Stage nine of the event was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions making Monday’s proposed timed special unfit to race.
Dakar Rally 2018 – Stage 8
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team have completed a very successful stage eight of the 2018 Dakar Rally. Antoine Meo claimed his second win in three stages, Toby price finished a very strong third and Matthias Walkner moved back up to third overall in the provisional standings following a sixth-place finish.
